Effective 8:00 AM, March 21, 2025 - NC Department of Agriculture The North Carolina Forest Service will implement a Statewide Burn Ban and cancel ALL previously issued open burning permits until further notice.

Local Burn Ban includes but is not limited to Bonfires, firepits, chimeneas, yard debris, land clearing, or ANY another type of open burning. You may still use Outdoor gas cooking appliances, enclosed cookers, charcoal grills, or smokers.
