This is the Arizona Department of Public Safety. A Turquoise Alert has been issued for Yuma Police Department. The Yuma Police Department is looking for 17-year-old Maria Acedo. Maria is an Indigenous female, 5 feet 2 inches tall, 256 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a black sweater, white pajama pants and carrying a black backpack. Maria was last seen at 4:00 P.M. on 12/02/25 on foot leaving Cibola High School and never returned to her home. According to her family, Maria does not have a cell phone, and there is no way to contact her at this time.
