National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Carter Co with heavy rain lightning and wind. If outside take shelter. Stay inside till the weather forecast says its safe to leave. If you come to flooded roads, turn around don't drown. Be careful on I-64 near the 166 mile marker. Monitor your alerts and warnings.
