Description

TEST ALERT 3: The Coast Guard R&D Center and Federal Emergency Management Agency are conducting testing on the AquaAlert system; no action is needed at this time. Safety Fact: In 2023 the fatality rate was 4.9 deaths per 100,000 registered recreational vessels - a 9.3% decrease from the 2022 rate of 5.4 deaths per 100,000 registered recreational vessels.
