Residents along the Edisto River are encouraged to evacuate now. Rescuers may not be able to get to you overnight. The Edisto is not expected to crest until 1 PM on Tuesday. An Evacuation Shelter is open at the Colleton County Recreation Center 280 Recreation Lane Walterboro, SC 29488. The shelter is pet friendly.
